Terms of Sale & Use

Metallotexnia Tsatsis — Last updated: 4 November 2026

These terms apply to the use of metallotexnia-tsatsis.gr (the “Website”) and to every purchase made through it. Please read them before placing an order. Where you buy as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement.

1. Who we are

The Website and the online shop are operated by:

Metallotexnia Tsatsis
Neraida, 46200 Paramythia, Thesprotia, Greece
VAT number (ΑΦΜ): 803246702 · General Commercial Registry (ΓΕΜΗ) no.: 192973328000
Email: info@metallotexnia-tsatsis.gr · Telephone: +30 26660 31209

(“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Our products

Every piece is hand-forged in our family workshop in Epirus. Because each item is made by hand, small variations in shape, surface texture, hammer marks and finish from the photographs and from piece to piece are a natural characteristic of the craft and are not a defect. Photographs and dimensions are shown as accurately as possible; where a measurement matters for your installation, please contact us before ordering.

The main characteristics of each product — material, dimensions, finish, options and price — are shown on its product page. Unless stated otherwise, products are supplied without installation.

3. Prices

All prices are in euro (€).

Delivery costs are shown separately before you confirm your order. The total price you pay is always the one displayed in the order summary at the final step of checkout. If a price is displayed in error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may choose to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it free of charge.

Your card issuer or payment provider may convert the amount into your own currency; any conversion fee is set by them, not by us.

4. How a contract is concluded

  1. You choose your products and any options, and add them to your basket.
  2. At checkout you enter your details, choose delivery and payment, and review a full summary of your order.
  3. By clicking the final order button (“Order with obligation to pay”), you make a binding offer to buy.
  4. We confirm receipt of your order by email. The contract is concluded when we send that confirmation.

Before clicking the final button you can correct any input errors by going back in the checkout. The contract is concluded in English, Greek or French, depending on the language version of the Website you use. We keep a record of your order; you will also receive the order details and these terms by email.

We may decline an order only for a legitimate reason (for example, a product that has become unavailable, or an obviously incorrect price); in that case any amount already paid is refunded in full without delay.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (WooPayments, powered by Stripe). We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, currently major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your full card details. Your payment is charged when the order is placed.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the countries offered at checkout. Delivery costs and estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy and are shown before you order. Unless a different date has been agreed, we deliver no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. If we cannot meet the agreed delivery time, we will tell you, and you may set a reasonable extra period; if we cannot deliver within it, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you have named (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods. If you are buying as a business, risk passes when the goods are handed to the carrier.

7. Your right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The full conditions, the way to withdraw — including the online “Withdraw from contract” function — and a model withdrawal form are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your own specifications or clearly personalised for you (for example, bespoke dimensions or a design agreed individually with you), as provided by Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. We will always tell you clearly, before you order, if an item falls under this exception.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided by EU and Greek law (Articles 534 et seq. of the Greek Civil Code, as amended by Law 4967/2022). We are responsible for any lack of conformity that exists when the goods are delivered and becomes apparent within two years of delivery. In that case you are entitled to have the item repaired or replaced free of charge, or, where this is not possible or not done within a reasonable time, to a price reduction or to terminate the contract.

Natural characteristics of hand-forged work (see section 2) and normal patina or wear are not a lack of conformity. Please tell us about any problem as soon as you notice it, using the contact details in section 1; this helps us resolve it quickly, but it does not shorten your legal rights.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and wherever liability cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability for ordinary negligence is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for a contract of this kind. Nothing in this section affects your rights under the legal guarantee of conformity.

We take reasonable care to keep the Website available and secure, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be free of interruptions or errors.

10. Use of the Website

You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. In particular, you must not:

11. Intellectual property

The designs, photographs, texts, logos, trademarks and other content of the Website belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by Greek, EU and international law. You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use, without removing any copyright notice. Any other use — including reproduction, publication or commercial use — requires our prior written consent.

12. Links to other websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including social networks. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their own terms and policies.

13. Personal data and cookies

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you are not satisfied, please contact us first at info@metallotexnia-tsatsis.gr — we aim to reply within 5 working days and to find a fair solution.

If we cannot resolve a dispute together, consumers may refer it to an out-of-court dispute-resolution body. In Greece, the competent body is the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή, www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr). Consumers living in another EU country can obtain free help with cross-border disputes from the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net).

15. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Greek law. If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Consumers may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence or before the competent Greek courts. For business customers, the courts of Thesprotia have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force on the date of your order applies to that order. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.

17. Contact

For any question about these terms, please contact us at info@metallotexnia-tsatsis.gr or +30 26660 31209.

Legal guarantee: minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.
