Description
Zemperéki is the Greek name for the traditional sliding door bolt. A forged bolt that slides across and holds the door closed. Plain, legible, made to be used every day.
We make it in our forge in Neraida, Epirus, where the Tsatsis family has worked since 1963. The iron is heated and shaped by hand, and the marks of that work stay on it. Forged once, it is meant to pass from one generation to the next.
